Keeping in view this noble cause the foundation stone of United College is laid in Kamoke. Kamoke is a Tehsil of Gujranwala District located on the Grand Trunk Road 21 km from Gujranwala and 44 km from Lahore. The stone of Kamoke city was laid in the period of Mughal emperor Akbar. The history of Kamoke is about 400 years. It is known as city of Masjids based on number of mosques per square kilometer. It is also known as an agricultural city with the main focus on basmati rice. Being a thickly populated city there were growing demands of the hardworking students and their motivated parents for the establishment of an institute to impart Quality Education in science and commerce not previously available in this locality. United Group of Colleges feels pride in offering Science and Commerce for boys and girls separately.
